Terms & Conditions
We have put together information on our terms and conditions to cover any order from Ryan Thomas Furniture whether a bespoke kitchen or a free - standing piece of furniture, whether the order is placed over the phone, online or at our workshop, you will always be able to find the most up to date version on our website. We have tried to keep it concise and as simple as possible. We suggest that you have a quick look through now and save a copy just in case you have any questions for us in the future.
Our Kitchens & Furniture
At Ryan Thomas Furniture, we construct our cabinets to very high standards and with quality, natural materials to ensure we make strong, durable kitchens & furniture, but that said, it is not indestructible.
Natural, timber is a beautiful living product that is part of natures’ own footprint and it will always want to move. cabinetry may expand and shrink as the temperature and humidity in your home changes, but we build your cabinets in a way that can help to counteract the movement. Just know that small changes are completely normal and nothing to worry about.
The descriptions and images on our website are there to help you and are accurate. We should point out though that in looking at the colours of some of our furniture, these can look different on a computer monitor so before choosing your colour, please do check these against your own colour charts.
Your Kitchen Order
Buying your new kitchen is exciting but can be a big purchase so communication is key. We only require a deposit of 50% (non-refundable), with the remaining 50% due 3 days prior to your delivery date.
Free-Standing Furniture
Bespoke furniture orders will require a 30% deposit (non-refundable), with the remaining balance due 3 days prior to your delivery date.
Delivery
We offer a free delivery service up to a 30 mile radius from our workshop. We will let you know at least two weeks prior to delivery when we are able to deliver your kitchen or free standing piece of furniture. Customers who live beyond the 30 mile radius are welcome to pick up themselves or organise their own carrier. Please advise in advance so we can have your items wrapped and packaged for collection. Once the goods have left our premisses we cannot beheld responsible should any damage be caused during transit
Please make doubly sure cabinets will fit through narrow doorways, around tight turns, up staircases and underneath ceilings. We will not be held responsible for units that we cannot physically get into your property.
While we will always do our very best to make sure your order is delivered on the day we say it will be, very rarely unforeseen delays can happen. It goes without saying that we will reschedule as soon as possible.
What we don’t cover….
As we do not offer a fitting service, we cannot take responsibility for damage caused to your kitchen by your chosen installer.
Accidental damage, or anything that you have caused by neglecting your units and/or worktops.
Normal wear and tear like dents, scratches or chipping.
Natural changes, like fading and cracking in timber and colour changes in paint.
